Happy July! Baltimore is turning HOT. Remember to be careful with your pups in the heat! They tend to overheat faster than us, especially older dogs, larger breeds and short nosed dogs. Stay to the shade when you are on walks. If your dog is panting excessively, drooling, acting fatigued, anxious or wobbly, he could be overheating--you should immediately stop all exertion, offer cool water, and find a cool place to stay. At Walk the Dog Baltimore we limit activity outdoors on code red days so we and the pups can stay healthy. As a reminder our summer weekends tend to book up faster than other times of the year, so the more notice you give us the better! Holiday fees will apply to July 3 and 4th this year.
